Warranty & Policy

This policy sets out the warranty and service arrangements for products sold by Application-Specified Product Implementation Co., Ltd. — the warranty period from acceptance, how consumables are defined, and how on-site service is dispatched and charged in Taiwan and overseas.

Warranty coverage and consumables

One-year parts warranty

  • A one-year manufacturer parts warranty starts from the date of formal acceptance at the customer’s site.
  • Failures in normal use that are not caused by misuse or impact are inspected and the parts replaced free of charge.
  • Replacement parts are manufacturer standard components, so the equipment keeps its rated performance.
  • Damage from force majeure, or from use that departs from the operating manual, is not covered.

Consumables defined in the contract

  • Equipment-specific consumables are listed item by item in the purchase contract appendix.
  • Parts subject to frequent contact or mechanical wear are consumables — for example steel balls and measuring plates.
  • Wear, scratching or depletion of consumables in normal use is outside the free parts warranty.
  • Standard consumables are held in stock and can be ordered at the after-sales service price at any time.

On-site service and charges in Taiwan

  1. 01
    Free parts replacement in warranty

For failures that meet the one-year warranty conditions, the engineer brings the manufacturer part and installs it on site at no charge.

  2. 02
    Engineer call-out fee

For an on-site visit, a call-out fee of US$250–380 per engineer per trip applies.

  3. 03
    Remote first-line diagnosis

Before any dispatch, the senior technical team helps clear simple faults by phone or video call, which saves time and cost on both sides.

  4. 04
    Standard completion sign-off

After repair and adjustment, the machine is tested in operation and a technical service report is issued for sign-off.

Overseas dispatch

  • Hardware parts within the warranty period are supplied free of charge under the one-year warranty and the consumables rules; the customer covers shipping only, and whether an engineer is needed on site is assessed case by case.
  • If an engineer has to travel to the site, we issue a formal quotation based on days on site, international airfare and accommodation.
  • Once the quotation is signed and returned, the engineer is scheduled immediately for full fault diagnosis and technical support at the overseas plant.

PC and software

  • Faults in the operating system or the PC hardware should first be handled by the plant’s own IT team.
  • While in warranty the PC is serviced by its own manufacturer (such as ASUS, Acer or HP), and those makers require the complete unit to be shipped back.
  • If ASPI is asked to arrange the return for service, the shipping cost is borne by the customer.

How a service request is handled

  1. 01
    Report and diagnose

The customer provides the machine number, a description of the fault and photos or video; a senior engineer starts remote diagnosis within 24 hours.

  2. 02
    Confirm scope and quote

Warranty eligibility and part availability are checked. Work in Taiwan is charged per trip; overseas work is quoted as a travel quotation, so costs are clear on both sides.

  3. 03
    On-site repair and acceptance

After the quotation is returned, the engineer replaces the parts, re-calibrates, runs a full operating test and hands over the service record for sign-off.

Actual warranty conditions, the consumables list and service charges follow the formal quotation and the purchase contract appendix for each project.
